​Product descriptions

All products are generally available in 2-4 weeks  and are guaranteed to arrive in pristine condition.  All images  24-36" or larger will be shipped in a wooden crate.  If any shipping damage has occured a replacement product will be ordered.

GALLERY  MDF  plaque  or Gallery Wrap Canvas
the gallery float is a popular option and is our most economical and ready to hang product. 
The image uses luster paper printed with 12 color pigmented inks. It is laminated to a 3/8" MDF board  with beveled BLACK edges.   It hangs with a metal french cleat on the back.  If you choose to frame , the edges will be square.  Optional paper types available upon request.   Gallery wrap canvas is complete with 1" thick stretcher bars.

​Shou Sugi Ban Wood Frame
Our custom made wooden framed are born in fire!    The first step of this ancient Japanese treatment  burns and chars the pine wood until it is black and starting to form embers.  Next the frame is brushed until the charred embers are fully removed.  The winter season growth rings are naturally harder and resist the burn, remaining as the high and/or dark bands.    The summer grown rings are softer and char deeper.  After brushing these portions of the growth ring are the light and/or lower bands.

The natural finish is a dark to medium brown that resembles a highly textured walnut wood.  The black are hand stained with a black velvet pigmentation.

Metal/Aluminum dye-sublimated 
The Metal prints are sourced from top tier providers that specify the ChromoLux standards.  This ensures the highest archival life in metal prints. we never source low cost dye-sublimated products due to the short life EXPECTANCY of only 5-7 years.  The  Metal prints are  typically a high gloss finish that is considered high CONTRAST / high saturation.   matte surface or BRUSHED aluminum finishes are available with special request.  Our metal prints are backed with an additional Pvc/ABS layer to MINIMIZE the chances of damage while handling.  The hanging system incorporates a 3/4" inner box frame on the back with a Z-bar french cleat.

​Face-mounted acrylics
Our FACE MOUNTED acrylic images are made to the highest standards possible.   simply put, if there was better system available, we would use it!   

FOR THE CONTEMPORARY LOOK, OUR ACRYLICS ARE POLISHED using a 5 step process WITH A 2000 GRIT ABRASIVE for a mirror edge finish.  while any of our products can be custom framed, many acrylic buyers prefer the exposed CONTEMPORARY polished edge.

The Print:  The image starts with a pearled metallic medium that is PRINTED with 12 color pigmented inks.  Pearled metallic provides a unique and almost iridescent and dimensional look to the image due to a semi reflective layer of powdered mica (AKA eye shadow) behind the resin ink layer.   Pearled metallic acrylic PRINTS are our most popular option.  Pearled metallic has a HIGHER resolution and IMPROVED color gamut than dye-sublimated metal prints.

The acrylic:  We  only source the best UV filtering acrylics.    it filters 98% of the damaging uva & uvb rays.   Generic acrylics TYPICALLY used do not have these properties and will not protect your investment.  the uv properties of these acrylics are MANUFACTURED THROUGHOUT THE PRODUCT, not a surface laminate or treatment.   Should  you ever mar the front surface, our gloss acrylic can be buffed out to ITS ORIGINAL sheen.  Satin acrylic  known as OP# and p99 has a similar UV protecting property.   before shipping, gloss and satin acrylics are TREATED with novus 1 clean and shine for an anti-static /ANTI-fog property.  Simply wipe the SURFACE once a year with a misted/dampened soft microfiber cloth.  no windex or cleaning agents.   Our face acrylic is manufactured with 1/8" thickness.  1/4" thickness available.

Our premium offering incorporates a no-glare Truvue Tru-life acrylic, Considered the best acrylic on the market.   it provides  99% UV filtering, anti-scratch hardened surface  and anti static properties with the brightest available visible light transmission.  SIMPLY WIPE THE SURFACE ONCE A YEAR WITH A misted/dampened  SOFT MICROFIBER CLOTH.  WINDEX is TOLERATED, but not RECOMMENDED.

The backer:  Going the extra step, we back our pearled metallic print with another sheet of black acrylic.   Our premium products do not use softer plastics such as ABS or komatex as they are not as rigid of substrate  nor polish to a mirror edge. the  backer removes all environmental issues from the paper backing while adding rigidity.  OUR backer material comes WITH 1/8" THICKNESS.

The standoff frame:    Adding still another layer of RIGIDITY, the square tube standoff inner frame on the back integrates a modified french cleat hanging system known as  "z-bar".  Z-Bar is the most secure, easiest to hang and "remain level" system available.  Most standoff frames will be 3/4" square tube.
